Looking for support along the journey? Join a support group to help and be helped by a community of faith. All are welcome!

 Below is our list of available support groups within our St. Gregory the Great family.

Mental Wellness Support Groups

Find a compassionate, confidential community ready to listen, share, pray, and walk with you in faith. The Mental Wellness Ministry offers Spiritual Support Groups throughout the year. These groups are great for adults facing anxiety, depression, loneliness, grief, aging, memory challenges, or difficult transitions—or for those supporting loved ones on similar journeys. Join us as we explore care giving together and discuss: maintaining balance as a caregiver, solving care giving problems, learning from the experience of others and discovering additional resources.  This group meets on the first Thursday of each month, 6:00-7:30 p.m. in IHM’s Guadalupe Room. Please call the above number before attending a group.

The IHM Grief Support group meets for one, eight week session during the year, typically in the Fall.  Meetings are in the evening. This is a faith-based group that provides an opportunity to deal with loss in an atmosphere of compassion and support. All are welcome.
The GA Grief Support group meets year-round on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 4 pm in room B. All are welcome. Please call the Rectory to sign up before attending.

This support group is for caregivers, family members and friends of people with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia. It provides participants with an opportunity to discuss caregiving challenges and share helpful tips, while receiving support from others who are in similar situations. This group meets on the third Wednesday of each month, 7:00-8:30 p.m. in IHM’s Guadalupe Room.

Support groups for both meet on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the IHM School Cafeteria from September to June. To register, contact Fernside at 513-246-9140.
