GUARDIAN ANGELS • IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY • ST. JOHN FISHER
St. Gregory the Great Family of Parishes aims to use our various communication channels and methods to inform, promote, and celebrate content and news relevant to our parish and school communities at Guardian Angels, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and St. John Fisher. We are happy to work with you and your ministry to find ways to promote the good work you are doing among our family of parishes.
All promotions in our SGG communication channels must align with the mission and vision of the St. Gregory the Great Family of Parishes. Due to space limitations in our communication mediums, our SGG communication channels prioritize parish family-wide events, ministries, and faith-based content.
Please see the below information for how to submit to the bulletin and other channels.
**Bulletin publication dates around New Year’s, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas have earlier printing deadlines. Please submit bulletin pieces three weeks or earlier in advance if the intended publication date is near one of these holidays.
When submitting your request, please clearly label your email’s subject title with the date(s) you are requesting (for example: Bulletin – Feb 15 + Feb 22).
Submit your pictures, graphics, QR codes, and/or text to the appropriate bulletin vetter via email for the department or topic your piece most closely refers to. Please see the contact information below.
**Please see FAQ below
Upon receipt of your bulletin request, the bulletin vetter will assess the content for suitability in the bulletin or reach out to you with any questions.
If approved, the bulletin vetter will copy you and forward your email to the Communications Coordinator (communications@sggparish.org) for recommendation to the bulletin. You do not need to submit a second email to the Communications Coordinator unless there has been an update to location, date, etc. for your event. Please note, St. Gregory the Great Family of Parishes reserves the right to accept, edit, reject, or postpone communication requests based upon space limitations or concerns about the content.
Note: Although we will do our best, due to high volume we may be unable to respond to each request. These bulletin guidelines are subject to change at any time and without notice.
Unless otherwise requested, a bulletin piece will run for two consecutive weeks by default. Extensions are made at the discretion of the Director of Communications Abigail Rafael (abigailr@sggparish.org). If an extension is granted, an additional graphic or text may be requested to maintain visual appeal through variety. (For example: If a bulletin piece is approved to run for four weeks, two pieces of artwork or text should be submitted. Each will run for two weeks.)
Important Note: We are very blessed to have a large family of parishes with thriving and active ministries at every location and school. While we do our best to accommodate everyone’s news, it is not possible to promote every update or event with the same type of frequency or promotion strategy. Therefore, inclusion and frequency into a communication channel is dependent on the nature of the content and availability of space. Determinations are at the discretion of the SGG Communications team but are typically with the collaboration of bulletin vetters, the Leadership team, and ministry leaders.
We cannot accommodate full page flyers into the bulletin due to space limitations. Flyers or graphics are limited to 1/4 page size in the bulletin.
Follow the bulletin submission process above and include specific requests to channels in the body of your email submission. However, know that the bulletin requests we receive are also automatically considered for the SGG Weekly email newsletter and social media for suitability on these channels.

No, we do not permit groups to add separate flyer inserts into bulletins.
The SGG Weekly is a weekly email newsletter sent every Friday that provides a brief update of key SGG-wide news. It is not intended as a reiteration of the bulletin but does include a button to the coming weekend’s bulletin. However, requests to the bulletin are automatically considered for inclusion in the featured section of the SGG Weekly. For requests specific to the SGG Weekly, please include the request in your bulletin request email. Subscribe at sggparish.org/newsletter.
Called for More is a monthly email newsletter sent on the third Saturday of each month. This newsletter celebrates the lives and stories of our parishioners.
The title of our newsletter makes reference to our vision statement: We are lifelong disciples responding to the mission that we are Called for More.
No matter where we are, personally or as a parish family, there’s always a next step further God is inviting us to take. We are all Called for More.
Our newsletter will focus on celebrating stories throughout our family of parishes that exemplify our four St. Gregory the Great Family of Parishes values of – faith, family, generosity, and joy.
Read our pastoral plan for more information about our values and family of parishes. Subscribe at sggparish.org/newsletter. Click here to read past stories.
Interested in writing an article for Called for More or have a parishioner you want to nominate to be featured? Please send your story idea to abigailr@sggparish.org.

IHM runs a powerpoint slide presentation on a projected screen prior to Mass. This is under the discretion of the Director of Worship, Michael Johnson, not the SGG Communications team. Please submit the message to him at michaelj@sggparish.org.
Non-SGG companies and organizations may submit their request for promotion in the bulletin through the same bulletin vetting process. Not sure which department your request falls under? Submit your request to abigailr@sggparish.org.

Use of our gathering spaces (including handing out flyers or brochures) at Guardian Angels, Immaculate Heart of Mary, or St. John Fisher are at the discretion of each individual parish office, not the SGG Communications team. Mass announcements are designed for happenings taking place directly after Mass in the respective parishes’ gathering spaces. Approval of a Mass announcement is at the discretion of each individual parish office, not the SGG Communications team.
Although we do our best to accommodate requests, due to different weekend schedules and community needs among our large family of parishes, Mass announcement permissions are different at each parish and limited in availability. We encourage members of our community to use the many other communication channels available to them before taking this approach.

At St. Gregory the Great, we prioritize providing a space for silent prayer before Mass to allow parishioners ample time to prepare their hearts and minds for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Therefore, speakers before Mass are limited only to those requested or required by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Members of our community are encouraged to use the many other available forms of communication to them when planning their promotions.
