The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) is a Catholic lay organization that helps those in need or who are living in poverty. The mission of SVDP is, “A network of neighbors, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.”
SVDP gives direct aid to those in need by providing financial, physical, mental, and spiritual relief, as well as the foundation for initiating self-improvement. Members of SVDP (Vincentians) visit neighbors in their homes, assess the need, and provide help if possible for such things as rent, utilities, clothing, furniture or gift cards for food and gasoline. Each SVDP Conference serves designated local neighborhoods. Please contact the corresponding SVDP for your local area. Upon calling, you will need to leave a voicemail with your name, phone number, address, and a brief message describing your needs. A member of SVDP will call you back.

Guardian Angels SVDP runs a pantry with food and personal items on Saturdays from 9:30 am – 10:30 am. It is by appointment only. Other events are held to offer support to local families at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
