Following the homily is the traditional Washing of Feet, as we remember the Lord’s call to service. Following Mass, all are invited to spend time in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament until Night Prayer.
On Good Friday, we remember Christ’s saving Passion and pray at length for the world’s needs. While Mass is not celebrated this day, we will partake in Holy Communion, consecrated the evening before on Holy Thursday.
During the Easter Vigil, we trace the history of our salvation in Sacred Scripture and welcome new members through celebrating the sacraments of initiation as we keep vigil for the Lord’s Resurrection.
